Decklist

Main list for Sanji OP12.

Options & Tech Cards

Flexible choices that support specific board states or defensive turns.

Lets you replay Gravity Blade lines and gives access to event turns again.

Useful for answering larger 7-cost bodies such as Sabo OP15-046 or Zoro EB04.

Can force almost any body off the board, which matters in some big-body situations.

Strong into larger bodies and also works well with Brochette Blow OP12-078 or Reiju EB03-031.

Finds Sanji OP12-070 or an event and can also clean up 2000-power or lower bodies.

A defensive counter that can also rest a body regardless of cost.

Mulligan

Prioritize the pieces that find Sanji quickly and keep the trash and event flow online.

OP12-070 Sanji + Lady's Teardrops is the clean start: it finds Sanji while also filling the trash. Let's Crash This Wedding is another strong opener because it searches for OP12-070 Sanji, and Boeuf Burst is the event you most want to have ready for the midgame or for the draw 2 cards.

Curve Guide

Turn checkpoints for the search package, Sanji setup turns, and your late-game event finishers.

Curve

1/2 DON!!
These opening turns are mainly for finding OP12-070 Sanji and getting the setup moving without wasting pieces.
3/4 DON!!
Sanji OP12-070 with leader effect into Boeuf Burst is the clean line here, while Lady's Teardrops can keep digging for OP12-070 Sanji, blocker Sanji, or Stealth Black.
5/6 DON!!
Reiju or OP12-070 Sanji starts the stronger midgame turns, then Stealth Black can bring another Sanji while still leaving room for a 1-cost event.
7/8 DON!!
If Hancock is available, this is a strong point to deploy her, then convert the turn with Stealth Black or Boeuf Burst. Culverin is the board-control tool when the turn needs removal more than pressure.
Late Game
Brochette Blow and Divine Departure are the main answers to larger bodies. Sanji OP15-047 helps force through bigger blockers and is a good Stealth Black re-summon target. Gum-Gum Giant keeps you safe while drawing, and Mamaragan clears blockers at 5000 power or less.

Tips

Three key lines to keep in mind while piloting the deck.

Count your event total in trash before choosing the turn.

Lady's Teardrops is the main tool for filling the trash and setting up stronger 3-cost Sanji turns. When the hand needs more flow, Boeuf Burst and Concasser are the events you can spend more freely.

Answer big bodies with your two best removal events.

Divine Departure handles large threats with the minus 8000 line, and Brochette Blow gives you the second removal angle when the board gets too big.

Use the late-game combo to open the last attacks.

Brochette Blow + Mamaragan is the main way to rest blockers and create the closing turn. Sanji OP15-047 is the follow-up attacker that helps finish the opponent through its unblockable effect once the lane is open.

Matchups

Quick matchup reminders and the main cards or finishers that matter in each pairing.

Slight Disadv.
Sabo
  • Use Boeuf Burst or Culverin to manage Cavendish.
  • Sanji unblockable is one of the cleanest ways to finish the game.
  • Boa Hancock can paralyze Sabo and also K.O. Rebecca.
Slight Disadv.
Nami
  • Gravity Blade lines matter against Nami, Kizaru, Robin, and Thriller Bark cards.
  • Prepare for a long game by pushing your 3-cost Sanjis to 10k and leaning on Gum-Gum Giant.
  • Break through the defense with Sanji unblockable or Divine Departure on Whitebeard cost 10.
Negative MU
Enel
  • Boa Hancock matters a lot here because she can paralyze 6-cost Enel and K.O. a 1-cost body.
  • Manage the board as well as possible with Boeuf Burst, Culverin, and Brochette Blow.
  • Use Gum-Gum Giant to survive the long turns when pressure starts stacking.
Slight Disadv.
Portgas D. Ace
  • Sanji unblockable is one of the main late-game finishers in this matchup.
  • Expect a longer game and use Gum-Gum Giant to hold the tempo.
  • Keep boosting your Sanjis to push through Ace's defensive turns.
Slight Adv.
Monkey D. Luffy
  • Brochette Blow is important to keep the board under control.
  • Push your 3-cost Sanjis as high as possible to keep pressure on.
  • Be ready for a longer game and use Gum-Gum Giant to stabilize key turns.
