Curve Guide

Go Second

Going second lets you use your DON!! to fill the board with 6k-power Characters as quickly as possible.

2 DON!!
+

Use both 1-cost plays to set up the deck immediately. Emporio.Ivankov converts two 6k-power Characters in hand into a deeper hand and a stocked trash, while Inazuma searches the top 5 for another 6k-power body. This gives you the pieces needed for the following development turns.

4 DON!!

Commit the turn to Monkey.D.Luffy ST30 as the first pressure piece. Its When Attacking effect gives the deck a way to answer an opposing Blocker without relying on battle, so the card remains relevant even when the opponent protects a key Character behind Blocker.

6 DON!!
+

Use Trafalgar Law to reuse a smaller Character's On Play value, then put Portgas.D.Ace OP16-118 onto the field rested. The line turns one established Character into two 6k-power bodies and keeps the board concentrated around the base power the Leader and Galdino support.

8 DON!!

Play Edward.Newgate when you already have 6k-power bodies worth amplifying. His effect makes that board 7k during your turn, improving your attacks and forcing the opponent to spend more resources before your Luffy and Ace Characters receive their defensive power increase on the opponent's turn.

Go First

Going first changes the order of development, using Mr.3 (Galdino) and the 6k-power bodies to preserve pressure through the mid-game.

1 DON!!

Use Inazuma as the early consistency play: look at the top 5 and secure a 6k-power Character before committing to the larger turns.

3 DON!!

Play Mr.3 (Galdino) before the board is fully developed so its Activate: Main effect is ready for the first meaningful attack. Resting it can place up to 2 rested DON!! on each of two 6k-power Characters, converting one setup Character into a wide attack without spending active DON!!.

5 DON!!

Play Portgas.D.Ace OP16-118 to develop a 6k-power body while checking the top 5 cards for a Monkey.D.Luffy or a Whitebeard Pirates card. This keeps the board on plan and improves access to the Luffy and Ace pieces needed for the following turns.

7 DON!!
+

With 6 or more DON!! on the field, Monkey.D.Luffy OP16 costs 2 instead of 4. Play it first, then use the remaining 5 DON!! to play Monkey.D.Luffy ST30 and rest 1 DON!! to give it Rush. Its attack can rest an opposing Blocker, creating immediate pressure with both Characters entering play this turn.

Deck Overview

The Mechanic

The 6k Power Restriction. Your Leader has 6k Power and 4 Life, but penalizes you (-2k Power) if you play any character with 7k or more base power. The catch? On the opponent's turn, ALL your Luffy and Ace 6k base power characters gain +3k Power! You swarm the board with 6k units that become 9k walls, making them impossible to clear in battle.

  • Incredible base defense: a 6k Power Leader with 4 Life is a nightmare for Aggro decks.
  • Characters become 9k Power defensively, forcing the opponent to rely solely on effect removal.
  • Crazy DON!! cheat thanks to 2c Mr. 3 (Galdino) buffing your attackers for free.
  • You are hard-capped from playing standard top-end Bosses (like 10c Shanks).
  • Extremely vulnerable to bottom-deck or cost-based KO removal (like Blue/Black Sakazuki).
  • Can struggle to close out games if the board gets repeatedly wiped by effects.
  • Leader Luffy & Ace: The stat machine. 6k base, 4 Life, and gives your characters +3k defensively.
  • OP16 SR Luffy: A 6k Power body that can be played for just 2 DON!! if you have 6 or more DON!! on the field.
  • 2c Mr. 3 (Galdino): Rest him to give two 6k base power characters 2 rested DON!! each for massive swings.

Tactics & Combos

The Galdino DON!! Cheat

Mr. 3 (Galdino) is the secret MVP. By resting him, you give up to two 6k base power characters 2 rested DON!! each. This is literally 4 free DON!! worth of power every single turn, letting you push huge unblockable numbers without committing your active resources.

The Trafalgar Law Bounce

Don't leave weak Searchers on the board! Play 6c Trafalgar Law, bounce your 1c Ivankov back to your hand, and cheat out a 5c Ace rested. Ace is completely safe while rested because the Leader effect boosts him to 9k power during the opponent's turn.

Slightly Unfavorable
Unfavorable

Build with 6k-power Characters, protect your Life when necessary, and use the Leader effect to make every Luffy and Ace body difficult to attack through. Mr.3 (Galdino), Trafalgar Law, and the 8-cost Edward.Newgate turn that defensive board into steady pressure.
